A slightly strange book. Two story threads wind their way from the dawn of the Victorian era to where they meet in modern day London. A hypnotherapist, a bevvy of actors, a witch and a couple of stereotypical coppers.

With a likable lead and supporting cast, I can see this turning into a profitable series.
