Jumbled mess

This is probably the hardest book I have ever tried to follow. It's a corporate/military/government/alien conspiracy, or some variation of any or all of these. The author has used time and/or location stamps for each segment/chapter and constantly jumps from California to New Hampshire as well as back and forth in time until I couldn't keep track of who was doing what, or were we experiencing a dream/flash back/alternate reality. And there's way too many characters to keep track of d
