I downloaded the first book, Talisman because it was free. It was a good enough story to make me want to buy the second in the series, Bloodstone.

The story was still good. However, unlike the first book, the spelling and grammatical errors were enough to spoil a lot of it for me. It's as if the author was in such a rush to get it to market that no attention was paid even to spellcheck in the word processing program, much less search the proper spelling for foreign language words.

Good story but I

These are just about the best books I've read, I can't put them down.......on to book 3 I can't wait
This book picks up where the last one left off. Danger lurks at every turn for poor Shiloh. Everyone wants her diamond powers and she has no idea who she can trust (other than Katie). Poor Katie just wants her body back and being stuck in a diamond is not much fun. Plus everyone she knows thinks she is dead. This book is full of drama and a touch of romance. I can't wait to see what danger and excitement awaits in book 3.

Adventurous Read

Bloodstone is as exciting as Talisman. Each character is cleverly entwined in the story to where the book flows effortlessly. The way the author writes make you feel as if you are experiencing the excitement and emotions as though you are there in the midst of it all. Can't wait for book three.

I couldn't put this down and will definitely be reading the next book. I feel it's aimed at mid to late teen girls but I loved it!

Throughout life, S.E. Akers found her pendulum unfailingly swinging to the “creative” side. Despite her career as an interior designer/artist, she always sought more imaginative avenues to explore. So, with the support and encouragement of her husband and son, she decided to sit down one sweltering Mississippi summer’s day and write a book. Yes, the chick whose attention span is limited to ...more
