Not a bad book. Would have been good but many of the subplots and characters were unnecessary and one dimensional.

Also, the Enemy Element (of the plot) was HOT for the romance but it just veered off after the marriage...zzzz

The HERO also seems to be obsessed with the Heroine 's looks but nothing else. I felt sorry for the HERO's poor late wife who seemed like a lovely woman (who had ben madly in love with the HERO) but wasn't as pretty as the Heroine .
