Intelligent and funny but never clever. Smart but never smug. A fun read with a capital F.
A semi-autobiographical story set in and around the Coventry School of Art in the late sixties.
The authors use of Beatles song titles for chapters is a crafty wheeze. The tale is sharp and witty with humorous dialogue along with a deal of pathos.
I spent a lovely day reading this from cover to cover and would recommend the book to anyone. 1D
