Since the traumatic events of a month previously (A Righteous Path) Georgie is having difficulty shaking off the lethargy plaguing her. James is spending a lot of his time at the office and Danny is in the process of developing his own company and doing quite well. Georgie is feeling at a loss, without direction and in need of a project, something to get her up and back into the world.

Wanting desperately to escape the house her mother bought, and promptly left Georgie and James to sort out, she

Enthralling, exciting and keeps you guessing until the last page

The enthralling thing about E L Lindley’s Georgie Connelly mysteries is that most of the characters have interesting traits. Many are fallible, like Georgie herself, always charging into a situation like a bull in a china shop causing mayhem and panic, or her long suffering lover, tough guy ex-marine James, who really wants to strangle her some of the time because of his frustration at her wayward ways, but loves her faults and all

The moment I put down book 3 in Georgie Connelly series, I found myself lost in the next one, book 4, False Allegiance. The option to take a break from this series apparently doesn't exist.

Georgie Connelly is back with False Allegiance. E.L. Lindley does a good job of keeping Georgie's stories interesting. All the action and high-drama that ensues brings you right in. I enjoyed this book as I was already familiar with the characters from the authors previous books in the series.

In this story we are reunited with Melvin, Georgie's vivacious driver. The dynamics turn into twists I hadn't expected. The suspense and mystery doesn't show itself in an obvious manner and this becomes quit

If there is one word that sums up Georgie Connelly for me, it would be irrepressible. However, in False Allegiance, the fourth book in this series and certainly at the start Georgie is more subdued than usual because of what happened in the previous story. The relationships around her are changing with sadly those closest to Georgie and her partner James facing some challenges. Emotions are running high and Georgie doesn’t do subtle.

Georgie is at a loose end with no interesting projects on the
