The downside of having read too much Sidney Sheldon is that you already know what to expect – surprising plot twists. That is why while reading this book I was already making bets with myself as to who the real culprit was. The thing is, Sheldon spoiled the fun for me as he already revealed the perpetrator early on in the story. Or so I thought. Because a few pages before it ends, something turns the story around. But still, the surprise I was preparing myself for wasn’t as that much of a surpri ...more

Nice plot twisting all over. Characters I couldn't invest in one bit.

Harry Stanford - Cruel, self-made millionaire is falling off from his yacht into raging sea. Before his murder mystery gets solved, his children are gathering to share their father's wealth. Story starts when his illegitimate child Julia Stanford joins the race. Mystery unveils slowly & steadily. The final twist about the supposed "wealth" proves why Sidney Sheldon is the best storyteller of the century.

Morning, Noon and Night by Sidney Sheldon is an easy, quick-read and enjoyable novel filled with intrigue and subterfuge. Having read several novels by Sidney Sheldon, I was looking for and anticipating interesting twists which I have come to expect from this author. I certainly was not disappointed as many curve balls were thrown but I was surprised by the one where I learned that the cruel, wealthy billionaire, Harry Stanford, actually had no money at all. I guess that is what makes Sidney She ...more

This thrilling book of intrigues, fraud, betrayal, and suspicion fittingly ends in exposures, arrests murderous attempts, and murders. All kinds of tricks have been employed to hoodwink the suspected which include husband, wife, brother, sister, and father. It is a no-holds-barred thriller of felony made vivid by twists and turns many times more than a plot needs.
But all of those spring from certain idiosyncrasies and hideous intentions of the lead characters. For example, Harry's larger-than-life pers

I have read lots of sidney sheldon novels...are you afraid of the dark, bloodline,if tomorrow comes, tell me your dreams.....all of them being fantastic novels i expected a bit more from this ended just as the steam had started gathering suspense..a bit predictable...not one of sheldon's best for me...

Wow!! One of the best Sidney Sheldon I have read. The book is a classic. You never know what to expect as you keep turning pages. The plot is a good old one - a wealthy father cruel to his children and the children trying to get hold of their father's wealth. But Sidney has made it a refreshing tale filled with twists and turns that make you feel if riding in a roller coaster is better. The witty and cold - blooded Judge Tyler Stanford, the soft Kendall Stanford, the drug addict Woodrow Stanford make ...more

Hearing a lot of high praises about the author, so here I am, finishing reading the 1st novel I picked by Sidney Sheldon. I need to read more from him to give a rating. But overall, it's quite a sweet thriller jam for me. It's entertaining enough to keep readers attracted.

However, I do feel like the ending is a little bit lacking. [spoiler alert!!! :D]
1st is about how the characters figure out the crimes of the Tyler. It's not because they have good case solving skill. It's just a combination o
2.8 stars for being a "page-turner". I listened to the unabridged audio.

I haven't listened to a non-romance in a long while even though I have bought several non-fiction audios. As a general fiction (not sure what genre Sheldon falls under) book, this only made three stars because it was very fast-paced but also very unsubstantial.

I thought I'd get a mystery without the plodding police procedural but when it finally wrapped up, I felt the entire tale was told so quickly, in different little scen

Morning, Noon & Night by Sidney Sheldon leads us into the world of power and deceit.

Harry Stanford is not a nice man; however he is a powerful one. Harry built an empire worth millions, but to whom should he bequeath this wealth if he should ever leave the world. He has estranged himself from all three of his children because of his cruel behavior toward them. His oldest son becomes a judge, his daughter becomes a high-fashion model/designer, and his youngest son - well, technically he is a

17/18 --> one more to go!

I was excited to read this, or not. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading most of his books. But this one is easily one of my favourites. It's a lot like Bloodline (which I loved) because the plot also revolves around a powerful family (and the money involved), but I'd say it's somehow a condensed version of it. Sure, it got predictable (that's to be expected when you've read most of his books), but it only left me curious for more. I know I could have finished i

The book was good. A very typical Sidney Sheldon book. Hence, there is lots of twists and turns. But since there was so many big twists in the middle, that the final twist was expected and it rather looked like a smaller twist than the first one. When everything fell into piece, one can certainly predict what the final twist is going to be. I certainly did. But all in all, it was a good read...

Once again, everything you could hope for in a Sidney Sheldon novel: bland title, power-hungry and deceitful characters, and many twists and turns along the way. I had fun guessing what would happen, and even though I got most of them right, I also guessed a few of them incorrectly (the fun part about his books is that anything can happen, so it's all fair game). A typical property based novel and yet Sheldon writes it so beautifully to make it immensely captivating. To me its the first Sheldon novel that doesn't feature a strong woman character and sensuous scenes. But it does feature typical Sheldon twists and turns that makes it enjoyable.

This book was typical Sidney Sheldon with twists and turns of the rich.

Harry Stanford goes overboard on his yacht during a storm. While his children are anxious to get their hands on his massive international empire, their secrets come out. Add to the mix an illegitamite daughter from a previous governess. There is Tyler the gay judge, Woody the polo playing drug addict and fashion designer Kendall who is being blackmailed. The money would alleviate their money concerns. Then there is Julia who
When I pick up a Sidney Sheldon - always with a sense of reverence - I know that I am going to get an intricate work of art, a book deep with nuance and plot twists and character development. While this novel was certainly a good afternoon read it was lacking a certain something that other Sheldon novels have in spades. Had this novel had anyone else's name on the cover I would perhaps have ranked it more highly, but with the Sidney Sheldon name plastered over the front I already had expectation ...more

I have loved Sidney Sheldon forever. This is another great Sheldon book, full of mystery, deceit and murder with a dash of romance at the end to wrap it all up. This story chronicles the degrees to which a person will go to lie, cheat, steal and kill for money and that no one can be trusted - ever. The killer is revealed to the reader, but you are kept wondering when (and if) the characters will ever figure it out. I thought I had read everything that Sheldon wrote, so I was surprised to find th ...more

It's a story of a family, siblings who want to get the share of properties left by their billionaire father in a conspiracy that is mysterious until the end.
Sidney Sheldon focuses on the events, narration in a specific manner and the narration in this book is fast pacing.
I liked its mystery, lead character and somewhat the climax or the so called 'the end'.
It's one of the best books written by Sidney Sheldon and must read for adults.

Another great story by Sidney Sheldon. Harry is a billionaire that dies and his children- Tyler, Kendall and Woody - meet after years for the funeral and reading of the will. There is also another daughter that Harry had with the governess. This birth had been a scandal and causes such trauma to the family. The daughter comes forward but is she who she says she is? Did Harry really drown or was he murdered? Are the people who you think they are? Story is full of surprises. Story grips you and y ...more
I wasn’t planning to read it but chain of events led me to buy it as I was short of money and this book was the only thing I could buy.

Morning, Noon, and Night is written by world renowned author, Sidney Sheldon. He has written some remarkable pieces over the starting years of his writing years but we can easily see the gradual decline of plot twisting with his age. His every book I’ve read, their comes a time when the plot twists suddenly. So it’s very easy to predict the next plot twisting if
