I semi-loathed this book. It was absolutely unrealistic. I mean, I know there are a lot of people out there who have really awful lives, and there are some truly terrible people around, but this book just kind of rolled a bunch of awful events into a couple hundred pages, made the characters react in completely inane and unrealistic (to my way of thinking) ways. However, I kept reading to the end, because I wanted to see what happened. And the ending was just as bad as the rest, leaving you ...more

Crazy Love Review
In the fictional story Crazy Love by Emma Keene, a 17 year old teen named Amy has her whole life planned out, but all of a sudden, everything changes. Amy and her boyfriend, Mitch, both graduate high school and plan to attend in State College, but when she receives a rejection letter, she is forced to make a new plan. Her life starts going downhill when she receives her rejection letter, her mom abandons her family, and Mitch starts to fade away. I did not enjoy this book as m

I could barely finish this book. It went extremely fast and the main character was so naïve and overdramatic at times! I mean really some of the stuff she did made no sense at all! Sneaking out of a restaurant cause you think a man who bought you a burger wants to sleep with you!!!! Who does that??? It wasn't like he bought you prime rib! Then the whole thing with her dad was over-the-top dramatic. She had the stupidest reasons ever for half the stuff she did and it made her look foolish. The ...more
I think that Amy is a good girl. She seems really nice. I feel really bad for her because she got a letter in the mail saying she didn't get accepted to the same college as her boyfriend, then her mom leaves her and her dad, from that her dad becomes an alcoholic, and then her boyfriend breaks up with her. I think she is a really strong girl and I like how she always stays positive.

I thought this book was really good. I loved the ending but it made me tear up a little. I thought it was very crue

I enjoyed the book, “Crazy Love”, written by Emma Keene. I really liked how I was able to connect with the main character, Amy, throughout the whole story. The relationship between Amy and her boyfriend, Mitch, reminded me a lot of my relationships. The love the two of them shared for each other was unconditional. I loved the fact that Amy was the typical type of high school graduate that has a perfect family. It caught me off guard when Amy didn’t get accepted into State University, she had ...more

“Crazy Love” by Emma Keene was one of the worst books that I have ever read. You know how when you see a car accident that you can’t help but watch as you drive by? There is just an innate curiosity and you find yourself fixated on something that you really shouldn’t? That’s why I kept reading this book.

First of all, when you’re writing a book getting the words out on paper is an important part of the process. Another VERY important part is to have someone else read those words and help you edi

I thought that this book was amazing and that it was one of the best books I have ever read (even though I don't read a ton). This book was very a very sad romance story. This book was very powerful and it made me feel bad for the main character. She has many family difficulties and she also has many issues with her romantic relationships. This is a book that was good because it made you feel that feeling of thankfulness, and also sympathy for those who have bad lives, it makes people like me ...more

The second book I choose to read over the summer is "Crazy Love" by Emma Keena.
The main main character Amy, loves her family and is a huge planer. In this book a young teenage girl Amy plans out her fairy tale life, little does she know it changes quickly. Amy want to go to State College in her hometown Greenville with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend Mitch received a scroller ship to State. She plans to live together and soon get married with the love of her life. Later, Amy received a rejection le

Lol, the other reviews are accurate. This wasn't the greatest book. There were editing mistakes aplenty. Everything was entirely unrealistic. That said, I was kind of enthralled by it. It was a super easy read, and I was genuinely interested in what happened next. But the literary quality is that of a trashy reality TV show. The kind where you know that soaking up this entertainment is going to contribute absolutely nothing to your life, but you like it so you just go with it anyway. This book ...more

I was completely engaged into this book and couldn't stop reading it as soon as I started. I am a hopeless romantic sometimes and the little love scenes here just make me so happy. I just really despise her mother for doing that and it is all her fault everything that happened after she left. I simply can not wrap my head around the idea of how can a "mother" leave her child behind for lust? Is it even worth it? Like she ruined Amy's life, she was very selfish during the whole process and didn't ...more

Real Love

As Amy gets ready for graduation, she notices her mother strange actions. She tells her parents that she was rejected from State college so she did't know what she would be doing. Her boyfriend Mitch tries to help her find a solution. When she graduated, only her father attends because her mom was home sick. The next day, she finds out that her mother has left. Her father starts drinking and Amy is at a loss what to do. She leaves town with her boyfriend and stays with him so she can ge

2. I believe the theme of the novel is love and how you will do anything for love and I feel like this because she is down for anything and everything that her boyfriend does or wants to do. She wants to follow every footstep that he takes no matter what it is.
3. " I will never stop trying, because when you find the one.. you never give up " I think this is a really good quote because it is true. When you find the one that you really want to be with you are supposed to fight for what you want an

I decided to take a chance on this book since it was free and seemed interesting. There was a lot of drama in this book and some of it was a little over the top. However, with any good love story you expect drama, right? My problem with the story was that it didn't focus that much on the love story. It wasn't until the end that I started to get excited about the relationship between Amy and Logan. I really liked Logan and was excited to see what was going to happen but then the book was over. It ...more

I really hate to say that I can't recommend this story. That isn't to say it's bad. It is not my thing. Why? After reading it I decided that I really hate first person POV. From now on I will avoid those stories. I felt terrible all the way through. It was one awful thing after another. Real life is enough like that, I don't need to read it for pleasure. There is just too much minor details for my taste. Just say you did something and avoided everyone and leave it at that. I wasn't able to read ...more

This book was awesome. It left at cliff hangers all the time. It kept me reading. I am surprised it took me a week to read I was so interested into it. It was strange how she went from one guy to the next guy to the next guy. I was like how many guys do you need to be happy. It was sad on how her mother just leaves the family and has another man she likes ditching Amy (main character)'s dad. Her dad gets drunk and beats Amy. Her boyfriend Mitch tries to get her to run away and they do. Really ...more

I didn't like this book and agree with the poor reviews. Amy comes across as very sheltered and naive, while being overly dramatic to situations. The character interactions are over the top, while leaving character development to be desired. Sadly, the story fell flat and the ending leaves the audience unfulfilled. The intent to hook you for the next book fails because there is no emotional connection to the characters or investment in the story. However there is an obvious untapped potential ...more

If only negative stars could be given. Don't read this shit unless if you're 11 years old and trapped in a basement without anythinng else to do than stare at the leaking pipes. Someone who says theyre not "a prude or anything" are prudes. Also the word "amazing" has been used so many times in a single chapter its sickening. "She's ridiculous" is that the best you can do at descriptive language --- silly author--? Seems about right. Holy shit can someone really blush that much? Ughhhh! The girl ...more

I really loved this book. I didn't like how Amy's life was going down hill so fast. When Amy doesn't get into college and her boyfriend Mitch does for a football scholarship. She ends up going to live with her boyfriend but while she was there she meet a new guy named Logan. Logan is the quarterback of the football team. Logan likes Amy so he takes her out to eat and Mitch finds out and breaks up with her. I like how Logan and Amy stat dating. I wish Amy would of gotten into college.
