Recommends it for:
people who think that fart is a bad word
what I like about this book? The censorship! its totally hilarious that they get away with expurgating 167 words from this book. After all, what if you are playing with your mother and one of THESE doozies pops up on your rack?

excellent book, but it keeps changing so you have to read it again and again.
Well, I haven't read the *whole* thing...
It gave me words I didn't even think of!!
Indispensable!
I will be using this book to play the game on the computer and a scrabble board game. I hope to enhance my verbal skills, grammar, and my overall understanding of the English language. I will always be reading this book and plan to put it to good use.
OK...I don't know why I'm adding this here. I must be getting punch drunk...time to go to bed. Anyway, thanks Karla for getting Lynette & I a copy of this to help settle the endless Scrabble disputes while playing. :-)

Mike loves to read this over and over and I've found it's great for little boys who are acting naughty and need to copy words out of the dictionary to help them settle down and focus.
Not quite sure how one goes about reviewing a dictionary... Umm... It had a lot of words? :) It comes in handy when I need to look stuff up (or to call B.S. on someone)
I bet you couldn't find any mistakes in this book! :D My family has been definitely used this book well because we are major Scrabble and other word game fans!
Again, a book I care around with me, just in case there is suddenly an impromtu game of Scrabble that might end in a squabble over a nonce word.
I have not read this book all the way through, as I'm not that fanatic a Scrabble player, but it is certainly a useful article.

Who doesn't love dictionaries? Who doesn't love Scrabble? Who doesn't love this dictionary?

sticklers, point whores, and people who just want to get along
This really helps. It's a great alternative to fist fighting.
It's not so heavy on plot, but what richness of language!
I LOST. HOW IS NOUGATY NOT A WORD?-- exactly.
