This was my least favorite book in the series. It is so much darker than the other books and the emotional abuse storyline was hard to stomach. My 9-year-old listened to the first two with me but I was a little reluctant about her reading this one. We've had several discussions about what she should do if she finds herself in a situation like the one Kevin is in.
