The Beast Quest Series is interesting, but it is repetitive and after a few books you sort of know what's going to happen next. I find the book very simple and a easy reader for kids. I think it is very descriptive but I will only give it a 3.
this book was better than the other books because when he defeats the bird he ends up fighting 2 people in one book then he goes after melvil the evil wizard wich was pretty cool and i liked that part but also kinda short
Ryan's review: Awesome!
Mom's comments: One of the more treacherous and exciting adventures in the series.

it was one of the best ones.
it was awesome!!
awesome
I spilled my dinner on this book. Luckily it has a plastic library cover and it was okay.
Both the scale from the first beast and the thing from Tagus the horseman worked together to save Tom from a moat of lava because the scale protects Tom from fire (lava is like fire).
Epos gave Tom a sharp talon.
I liked the part when Tom found a bit of armour and it had these two signs: a tiny hammer sign and the letters T A L A.

We (Dallin age 7 and I) thought this was a fantastic conclusion to the beast quest and the perfect introduction to new adventures to come.
This one was one of our favorites! Tom really has to come up with the motivitation and determination on his own to defeat Epos.

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father’s paintings of historic English battles – which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father’s office. Adam’s father said they were a Blade family heirloom....more
