Sketches of Home
God glorifies Himself in the details of life - in dumpling cheeks, heaps of leaves, and hot, sugary fruit. In this collection of personal, poetic essays, Suzanne Clark opens our eyes to the magnificence of the details surrounding our lives and her life over the course of twenty years of "sweetness and grief mingling in the song of life."

I really enjoyed her writing style and the way she sees significance in the most mundane places. Some of the sketches are pretty heart-wrenching, despite the appearance of being a soft, easy read.
Beautiful poetry that at times brought tears to my eyes. Poignant thoughts about home life and domesticity in general, but with a thoughtful eye towards the little details that I love about homemaking.
