Thanks to this book I got more than 99% on my Professional Writing class. This book isn't just for college students; it is good for anyone who is in the market for new job. It talked about business communication (it's on the title) but that includes oral, written, how to do research paper, how to write proposals, what to expect and dress during an interview, how to write a follow up letter (thank you note), types of cover letters and how to tap into the hidden job market, types of resumes and on...more
This book is yet another desk reference that I use regularly. Anyone who needs to write anything in the business world will get the information they need to write a clear and professional document.
This is a great book. It is full of lots of helpful information, and the examples are helpful as well. It taught me a lot about how to communicate effectively.
I had the older version of this book because it was a text book in an English class that I had to take. I found this book very comprehensive and easy to understand. I turn to this book for many business communication reference.
