Blank Slate is a potent international techno-thriller that is reminiscent of "The Manchurian Candidate" and a few of Robert Ludlum's better efforts. Without giving too much away, the riveting plot revolves around Darrren Vance and his San Diego-based CyberQuest's revolutionary "Mitobots" technology. Technology in the wrong hands is a frightening concept.

Talk about a wild story. This is it. What a great premise. Cyberspace has developed a technology of microbots to further the betterment of mankind, or is it. I like suspense but I need it to be plausible. The two together make for a difficult combination to find in a book. I found both in this novel, which is a nice long read. It is filled with treason on the highest level, murder and deception as the backdrop. My attention was grabbed from the first line and then my pulse was made to pound as the tension began to build.
