Ms. Edwards does an excellent job of breaking down the Gospel of John. Attacking this treasured book from multiple angles there is much value in the discoveries she puts forth. However, at times it does appear that it is forgotten that it is scripture that is being discussed. Understandably this reads much more like a academic study in theology and some concepts of faith may be assumed, but this will not read well to the lay reader.
