Ever wondered about the differences between a lodgepole pine cone and ponderosa pine cone? totally? me too :) or how many litters a prairie dog produces per year? This is an essential read for anyone interested in the natural goings-on of their extended Colorado backyard. My only wish is that it had more color and more illustrations and/or photos.
