Summary (CIP): A breif intorduction to tunnels-their types, shapes, and parts, and how they are built.

Review: Colorful illustrations are more like diagrams in this informative but fairly dry book about tunnels. May be appeal to young children curious about how things work and how things are built.

Unable to locate reviews of this particular book, but general positively reviewed as an author by Horn Book, and SLJ

Perfect for a train-obsessed kid who likes to know how things work. This was our first foray into non-fiction and he loved it. Got it from the library on Monday and have already read it five times. As an added bonus, I learned several new things!

From I was born in Oak Park, Illinois, in 1944. Even as a little child, I was always busy putting books together. Sometimes I would bind them with yarn to hold the pages together.
