Love this book. It was my Greek companion in my Classics course at UNE.

A superior single and concise volume of ancient Greek history from period of its peak (i.e. 6th and 5th centuries B.C.E.)'From Solon to Socrates' is a very worthwhile book to read and utilize for the classics undergraduate.
