Letter from Peking was a quick book-club read that I really loved. The Chinese context was interesting for me, and I liked how compact the narrative was. I'm looking into reading more Pearl S. Buck in the future.

I read this years ago as well. I thought it was better the first time. I usually like the auther more.

Beautifully written, but beware! This is soooo sad! (Read it anyway, it's worth it)!
