This is a great book to read, especially for little kids. Also it has big letters and wonderful colored pictures, as do the entire fairy seres.
Beck, the animal talent fairy, must discover why all of Pixie Hollow is being hit by raining berries falling down on their heads! It appears the animals are taking sides, launching blackberries, sticks, and all manner of debris at one another...and the fairies are caught right in the middle of it! Will Beck be able to get her animal friends to stop fighting, and the fairies to stop wearing out their poor flower petal umbrella's, before someone really gets hurt? Cute, fun little story with lot's ...more
This is the review I would have wrote when I was younger if I could have, so don't think I'm nit-picking a little girl book (I was six or seven when I read it, I think).

The pictures are GREAT! The story is terrible...

As a little-kid I had high expectations for these Disney Fairies books, and they fell utterly short. The pictures are deceiving. They lie to little girls' faces, saying "this is interesting, and epic!"

I thought I was getting a real adventure with heart put into it, but no. It was "j

We bought this book used.

The bad part of these girl-centric books is the Disney need to slap on a message. This particular book doesn't do well when it comes to establishing the fairy world, or even Beck as a character and instead focuses—a lot—on a great civil war between forest critters where the only casualties are berries. While fighting and battles themselves aren't funny by nature, even my six year old got bored with the whole fighting-over-a-misunderstanding premise, which she informed m

Nice, cute story, but I think it was written a little too simply.
In this book Beck the anmial talent fairy is in for a great splat! The Humming Birds live in a berry bush and they have a nest in it. The chimpmunks always get there food from the same bush. Then one day one of the humming birds nest is gone they blame it on the chimpmunks. Now every time the chimpmunks go to the berry bush the humming birds hit them with a berry. Yea I might be a little old to read this book, but it was one of those days that you just have to read a really easy book, that is, to make you feel good. It was good, but kind of pointless. The battle was really really really pointless. The only good part was when the hawk was about to eat the baby animals, whoops did i give away to much???? Any way, only read this book if you are starting to learn to read. Or if you are just having one of those days.

I really like the Pixie Hollow series. I think this book is simple but also kind of weirdly touching. I enjoy the morals in children’s books, but this series especially has been touching upon issues that I enjoy seeing covered. This story was another lovely addition. I’m excited to finish the rest of the series and already consider the series a favorite.

Another read aloud for the kids. They liked this one too.

The book was very interesting it talks about this fairy who is a animal fairy, theres nothing she would rather do and she loves animals more than anything but she loves chipmunks, fox, and most of all twitter the bird and then thats when the story begins

"Kalau kau terbang menuju bintang kedua di sebelah kananmu dan melaju terus hingga pagi, kau akan tiba di Never Land, pulau ajaib tempat para putri duyung asyik bermain dan anak-anak tidak pernah tumbuh besar."

Itulah jalan menuju Never Land, silakan dicoba. ;p

Olivia and I just got done reading this book together. We both thought it was super cute! The pictures in the book are amazing! I think this will be a fun series to read together.

This book was very cute, and had a few lessons to be learned for little kids, and little critters. The lesson was...
To be kind to others, and listen before you do actions.

First book I ever bought from this 'series'. They are still on my shelf though I bought them many years ago.
I liked these books because it shows what the world in the story is like before the problem happens.
the birds and chipmunks have a disagreement and end up fighting with the berries making a mess of everything.

Moral: something about getting all the facts before you go jumping to conclusions.
