What Dreams May Come - 3/5 - This is where things start to get confusing. To the best of my knowledge, Adrian Draycott lived in the 1700s or something...but apparently he remembers a prior previous life in which he loved Gray Mackenzie. 3.5-4 stars

This book contains two books in the series, although not back-to-back.

What Dreams May Come is one of my favorites in the series - easily 4 stars, because we meet Gray Mackenzie - friend to Kacey Draycott and future companion to Adrian Draycott. Yep... it's quite the story! Of course, it's full of suspense and danger, but it's got such a wonderful happy ending that I can't fault it.

Season of Wishes is a sweet, wonderful tale of Ian McCall, a Scottish lord and Security International's
The first story is that of Gray and Adrian. Adrian Draycott is the ghost of one of the previous earls of Draycott Manor and, though dead, had stayed to protect his ancestral manner and the current family. He also wants to protect the woman who is currently commissioned to create a painting of the manor, Gray MacKenzie. She is easily startled because her ex-husband, who she had helped put in jail, has recently escaped. When he comes looking for her, Adrian has to find some way to help.
