I was expecting a straightforward book about Groundhog Day. What I got was a story involving anthropomorphic animals and kidnapping. Not bad. Not great, but not bad.

It was so boring, my 5 yr old didn't even make it halfway through. It's only redeeming quality were the illustrations.

He was married to the journalist, Kathleen Beckett, and they lived in New York City and an old carriage house in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. When he was not writing or traveling, he played a lot of tennis and walked around looking at everything.
