This is my current favorite book about making books! It has a n engaging layout, interesting projects, and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. This book is the closest thing you can get to learning how to make books from a real live person. I always recommend it to my bookmaking classes.

definitely a keeper, my kids and I will be enjoying this book for a long time to come. The how-to for books run from super simple to much more detailed, something for everyone.

I liked the format of this book a lot. Not too much was new to me as I've read several books on making books, but it was presented in a fun, engaging manner.

this is a super guide on bookmaking. easy to follow and it's set up for all those out there who love ledger pages and ephemera.

though rather blase in terms of projects, this bastard's giving me some good ideas. might keep this around as a handy reference....

Entertaining to read, beautifully illustrated, very artsy-looking. I've already started making little books!

From the National Gallery store, too. Couldn't resist it. I'm going to make and bind a book this summer.

Great, clear pictures. But I'd go to another book for actual how-tos.
