Holy Dragon King Hotness!! I think I'm in love with Kiril... :)
This is just the beginning of the story but man we are in for some serious steam with this couple. Kiril and Shara do not waste any time going after what they want! I love that we are getting a match between a Female Fae and a Dragon King this time around. The steam always seems to be a bit hotter between two immortals. Loving the chemistry between these two so far.
Shara is a Dark Fae who has been kept under lock and key for a long

3.5 - He was all male - hard, vigorous and intense. Stars!

In the first part of Donna Grant’s New novella in theDark Kings series we are introduced to Dark King Kiril and Dark Fae Shara, both have something to prove, one to their family one and other too themselves.

He would give himself up to the dark before he allowed anything to happen to his brothers.

”Family, Shara. It’s all you have.”

This is my first book by Donna, the start to the story is easy to immerse yourself in, the characters likeable

Yep, I did it again and started a series in the middle. There were a lot of people in this book that it took me a minute to get them all straight in my head. Loved Kiril and Shara. Smoking hot chemistry from the start and some suspense and intrigue too. Glad I have all four parts, and shame on me for waiting so long to read these.

Of course I LOVE this book!! I do wish it was all in one instead of parts, but... I still love it!!

Donna Grant always keeps you on edge! She doesn't glaze over anything! It's intense & yes!!! Her books have characters tortured!! AND you know something bad will happen, but you have no idea what!!! OR WHEN!! You just know it's coming!!

This is part one of a four part book. You have a choice... Read it in 4 parts now or wait for a month or so & get the whole thing in one shot... I do like it

Books 1, 2, 3 and 4..

I have to say that this was the most exciting of all the 4-part series’ that DG has written I still hate Balladyn but you can add Farrell to the growing list of bad guys in these book, and hardly any of them get what they so richly deserve. They just keep doing bad sh*t to nice people. It’s really time to kill them all off and get some new bad guys. You can only hate them for so long then they just become boring. IMO.

Loved Kiril and Shara. And loved what Queen Usaeil did to

I love Donna Grant's work so much I am doing something I never do. I am reading her latest book in Serial Format. Yes that's right, I caved. Well sort of. I did get all four serial books up front so I can go from book to book..

One of the things that make Donna's books so special is her continuity. Burning Desire might be her latest book in her Dark Kings Series but it builds on her Dark Warriors Series which built on her Dark Shield Series. The warriors remai

The Dark Fae will stop at nothing to ferret out the Dragon Kings long untold secret.

Kiril is a Dragon King and has sworn to protect all of mankind. It is becoming more difficult to stay hidden from human eyes with the development of technology and its use by them. The Dark Fae has aligned themselves with MI5 and a banished dragon king that wants to destroy all of mankind and the dragon kings. It is a perilous time for everyone especially the kings who are under siege by these forces. Already two kings have been kidnapped and rescued at great cost. On

BURNING DESIRE: Part 1 by Donna Grant heralds a great introduction to the third book in her Dark King series featuring the stories of a clan of seriously sexy Scottish dragon shifters.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dragon King Kiril. He is swoon worthy as heck - an old, very smart alpha male whose Scottish brogue makes me melt. Shara, our Dark Fae heroine, is likable also. She doesn't seem like other nasty Dark Fae. We finally get to see Rhi since she was kidnapped by the Dark Fae; It's not looking good fo

This was a great start to the third installment of the Dark Kings Series. I loved the previous books and have been looking forward to learning more about Kiril and what happens next in war with the the Dark Fae! Seems like serials are becoming more and more popular and publishers are testing the waters/market to see if people are willing to purchase the individual parts to a novel that will be released in its entirety at a later date. If you're okay with 'cliff hangers', or having to wait to the ...more

Reviewing a storyline in serial format is difficult without giving away too many spoilers or sounding repetitive with each instalment. As the storyline builds, each episode reveals a little bit more information as well as the continued growth of the hero and heroine-their relationship and their love. And because each portion, in and of itself, is not a complete storyline it is difficult at times to be selective with the information passed along.

Because BURNING DESI

Burning Desire is the third in the Dark Kings series, and, as this is the first book I have read by Donna Grant, I wondered whether I had missed too much, but the way we were introduced to Kiril and Sharna gave me enough information to enjoy this novella. Having said that I am curious about the other Dark Kings and want to learn more about this whole world that Donna Grant has built. But back to Burning Desire, the story of Kiril and Shara....

I enjoyed both of these characters. They were engagin

Characters: Kiril made a very charismatic entrance, and it may or may not have to do with the Scot charm going on. There’s this vibe of raw sexual power and danger about the man, he just immediately got my attention, the badass sort of good gu

Burning Desire: Part 1 is just as it states part one of Donna Grant’s latest book in serialization. From the beginning, I knew this would be released in four parts, week by week. I expect cliffhangers as the story goes along but not much time to wait to read the next part.

I was thrilled that this is Dragon King Kiril’s story. I had been waiting patiently since he had stayed in Ireland to scout out and spy on the enemy, the Dark Fae. Ms. Grant hit with an unexpected turn of events at the very be

This is my first Donna Grant read and it's about Dragons!

This comes in 4 parts and this review is for whole story.

Dragon kings, dark and light fae all in the mix, make it a very interesting read, especially when two are attracted to each other.

Kilrin is a Dragon King staying in Ireland the heart of Dark Fae ground! His constantly being watched by the dark, he spots them a mile away as his very powerful.

Shara is a dark fae badly treated by all in her family, she now has to prove herself to them

This series keeps getting better and better with each new book that comes out. I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would and I think it’s because of the characters involved. It’s not every day you read a book about a bad guy, and you are left wondering if they are going to stay bad, or will they turn good?
That was completely the case with this story, and as much as I don’t enjoy serials, I love how this one was written because it completely kept me interested and wanting to read mor

As I mentioned this first installment was quite short as expected in a serial. I’m not certain if I like serials or not?.. One thing is for sure they are full of potent material. From the first page it is a whirlwind of information action and punch after punch of awesome. With Kiril in Ireland as the Dark Fae are making their strong hold trying to get what information needed to save a dear friend. I do not like to review books by parts. Therefore, I will give a full review once I have finished all four parts. Kiril knows what the Dark want adn realize they will do what ever it takes to get their hands on any Dragon King they can. Now he's being seduced by the lovely Shara. Although is everything what it seems? or is there more go

I didn't realized this was part of a series (and not first book of the series), so it took me a while to get into this book (for a short book that's a lot). Since I wasn't familiar with the name and the background story of the series.

When I started reading this book I was unaware it was part of a series and as so I feel I have missed out on much of the history. Part 1 is OK so far but I have to say that the written scottish accent is very annoying, I am quite capable of putting in a scottish accent as I read if the character has one. I want to keep reading but the accent thing is really going to bug me.

For those that love really convoluted yet underdeveloped stories.

I couldn't really keep my attention on the book very well, there were a lot of conclusions being leaped to, and an attempt at character development that didn't really involve much buildup.
