Worth reading the book if you are into meditation and want to gain a better understanding and insight into its benefits.

Very, very short on technique (actual techniques are limited to a small appendix at the back). Most of the book is on general guidance on the attitude one should have toward meditation. I do take exception to his section on finding a guru, however: I have no problem with the notion of looking past any external ugliness or drooling (his example, not mine), but an enlightened person is not going to be abusive towards people, or throw rocks. I give it three stars because it sounded to me more like a pitch to sell his product (some kind of book or guide for meditation) than to reveal secrets -if there are any when it comes down to this ancient practice.
