This was good, although there were several moments I personally could have strangled Phila for her hysterics, but I forgive them all due to the presence of The Great Lady Tony as a bit player in the tale.
A rather mediocre regency with a rather dull, almost lifeless heroine and a hero who is so withdrawn and reserved that even the reader can't connect with him.

A Regency/Historical author. In 1978, Doubleday published The Duchess of Vidal; in 1979, Playboy Press reissued it, in paperback.
Dawn Lindsey continued to write Regency romance throughout the 1980's and 1990's.
