Hilarious British anecdotal humor. Jeffrey Bernard representing the "low life" as he struggled to become a well known author. Taki represents the "high life," the tennis pro, jet-setting son of a Greek shipping magnate. Light reading but very well written.

I bought this for Taki's articles but became a Jeffrey Bernard fan when I finished. Hard to find now but worth seeking out.
