This was my first adventure with the author and it will not be my last! I enjoyed meeting Devon and Gillian, they were from two different worlds and came together when they both needed it. While Devon was consumed with guilt for not being able to save his wife from a terrible tragedy, which he felt somehow responsible for, and there was Gillian with her family issues and need to flee for some purging after her fiancé decided she didn't do for him, fate decided to intervene. Their union was no ...more

I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.

I loved the premise of this book. Hot and Cold, City Girl meets Rural Boy, Opposites attracting to each other......Win Win right. Who doesnt love the akwardness between two people who have no clue what the other is thinking but really really REALLY wants to know???!!!

So Gillian is a broken hearted mess and is hiding from her ex's wedding weekend

I’ve mentioned before in my reviews that one of my favorite story lines is of opposites attracting. ON THE WILD SIDE is an excellent example of opposites attracting done right. I loved everything about this book from its main characters to the excellent storyline and its emotional pull. Gillian is running from her past, in particular, her ex’s wedding. Devon is also running from his past. The murder of his wife destroyed him and now he chooses to live a simple and quiet life as a caretaker of a ...more

I received an ARC for an honest review in return. This is a first for me from this author. I am a big fan of opposites attract. One of my favorite tropes. Gillian and Devon were each so strong in their own ways. I was a fan of Gillian, while Devon seemed to rub me the wrong way. I believe the level of roughness was a little too harsh for my personal taste.

The author penned a well written story that flowed with incredible ease. This is a comfortable read because you can tell where the story line

This is the first time I’ve read anything by this author. I have to say, the writing is well done and everything moves along quite smoothly throughout the story. You’ve got a great storyline that flows nicely, even if you kind of know where the story is heading (or at least I figured out where it was going).

While I found both of the main characters, Gillian and Devon, strong and intriguing, I just had a hard time seeing them as a couple. The relationship felt rough around the edges and just a bi

With an overactive imagination from an early age, Yvonne created vivid stories in her mind in which she was the lead character. It wasn't long before she decided to take these stories from her mind and pen them to paper.

A romantic at heart, Yvonne loves short stories and romantic suspense. She writes primarily about relationships. At first, she wrote only for herself. But out of her passion for wr
