If you like Indonesia and want to get a deeper insight, I highly recommend you reading this book. I really enjoyed it. It's not only an adventure story of a few crazy guys doing a trip through Kalimantan but also the very personal experiences of the author which tell you a lot more about the Indonesian cultures and religions than you'd imagine. An easy to read east to west journey across the large island of Indonesian Borneo. In the company of a small group of westerners, they journey by river and track up and over the divide, with a little help and hindrance from some of the locals. The author is a Tasmanian who has fallen in love with Indonesia.
