THINGS KEEP GETTING BETTER AND I CANNOT PUT IT DOWN.
PS. Yato is totally hot during that kimono era something, like, his God of Calamity side is so hot.

This manga continues to deliver! The evil behind Bishamon is at work and the ultimate showdown between her and Yato draws near. We learn the story behind the hatred she has for him and where loyalties lie. Great plotting and exciting coming this far in the story but 'waaaaa' the ending! OMG, so totally devastating if what appears to happen really happens. Waaaaa! Need. next. volume!

Things definitely came to a head in this volume, with tensions running much higher than at any previous point in the story. The common manga trope of the biggest, most horrible looming (and sometimes fully actualized) disasters coming about because people hold stupid grudges and never actually talk to each other about the details came to the fore here, but unlike in other examples I recall reading (or watching in anime) from recent years I did not find myself exasperated or frustrated by it all. ...more

Hiyori decided she'll teach Yukine stuffs since he wants to learn anyway. Haha so she continues to hang out with the two since Yato still hasn't fixed her condition.

The thing that I like about this manga is that it doesn't give much damn to language. Haha. They're gods but they if you hear them speak you wouldn't be much convinced, especially if you heard Yato.

Vina gets more frame-time here haha. As she gets weaker, her shinkis gets more disorganized. It is said that the shinki and the master (g

The feud between Yato and Bishamon continues in this volume. Yukine accidentally steps in the middle of it, what Kazuma did for Yato gets revealed to Bishamon. Kugaha is working behind the scenes to cause more tension between them, and causes a lot of trouble for everyone, and it works.

I feel bad for Kazuma, and for Yukine. They are caught in the middle, when they shouldn’t be. It’s also revealed what happened between Yato and Bishamon in the beginning, what caused this huge rift, and it’s b

We finally get answers to the backstory behind Bishamon and Yato's hatred! Noragami is quickly becoming one of my favorite manga - Adachitoka does such a great job of blending character development, humor, and plot development. Unlike many other currently-running series, Noragami is well-paced, revealing backstory at crucial moments in order to both build characters and generate suspense (not to mention actually giving answers to reader questions in a timely manner **cough** Attack on Titan ...more

Noragami is such an interesting manga. The story-line isn't anything that hasn't been done before, but it's done in a unique and fun way -- and the characters are engaging and entertaining. As far as shounen manga go, which I don't usually stick with if only because all the endless MUST BATTLE, MUST GET STRONGER gets boring for me, this one does a great job of focusing on interpersonal relationships in addition to the plot, plus add a great level of mystery. Love it and can't wait to read more!

This is one of my favorite animes, and one of my favorite mangas, and I swear to God, each volume just gets sadder and sadder. The characters, while comedic in their own rights, have such tragedy happen to them that I just can't help but be terribly sad about everything that's going on constantly. I have a feeling that this arc is kind of what the second season of Noragami is about, and that makes me absolutely terrified and not want to start it even more.

The ending of this book was terrible. Not terrible in a "ugh this book is bad" or a "the writing is awful" kind of way. It was terrible in that it is a cliffhanger and it leaves you desperately wanting the next book. I stared at the last page in horror and desperation fueled my frantic page turning through the translation notes looking for the rest of the story because that just couldn't possibly be how this volume ends.

Ampliamente recomendable.

By far my favorite out of the series, this book I think has the best action the suspense is real. I love how the bisamon arc is told and it leaves you on a cliff hanger wanting to pick up the next book right away. As always amazing story and well written characters!

Such an intriguing manga! The characters are becoming so much more complex and vulnerable. And I'm not sure I know what I want for Hiyori anymore as a character. The character development in this volume is terrific for sure though!
Dorkthropology
This manga continues to be excellent, my only complaint is I'm sad at Kugaha's role--as he's the only one with that aesthetic it results in a xenophobic vibe. Still, very engaging story. Geez I'm glad I saw this part of the anime already so I wasn't left with that cliffhanger.
