As I arrived at the end of what was the final instalment of the trilogy of Shankar's adventures, I couldn't help but wonder how true Sankar's (the author) depiction of life is. It is indeed waging everyday battles to get by - a constant struggle for survival in the face of sorrow & despair, punctuated only by fleeting moments of happiness.

And that is pretty much how I'll leave this review of "Thackeray Mansion", the tale of stories within stories unravelling in homes within homes. Certainly
