In Heatherdale Drive, a peaceful cul-de-sac home to two dozen families and several singletons, those secrets were locked within number sixteen.

With 16 Heatherdale Drive you have five short stories rolled tightly into a devious collection of sinister horror. Not a tale in the lot was filler or a waste of the reader’s time to get to the next story. Each has merits of its own and each was well presented.

Of special interest is the short tale that bears the collection’s title. It is a tightly written stroll down a dark and lonely street. I did enjoy some of the tongue in cheek humor sewn into the fabric of the horror, intended - perhaps, c

Short stories

Overall it was decent. The 1st short was best of all with last being the worst. Not impressed enough to get more books from author.

I’m a huge fan of David Jester and this delightfully frightening collection of short stories is another winner. I liked all the stories, although Repeat Offender was my favourite and, as always, I went back and re-read some because they are just so readable. I’m looking forward to the next full-length novel by this author. I think the cover is great also.

Four Star

Four Star is what I've got for this one. Some of the stories were a little cheesy. I expected a lot more horror and just didn't get it. I'm a hard nut to crack when it comes to Scary so I don't recommend this one, just wasn't it for me.

Pretty good stories with a creepy, sometimes Twilight Zone feel. Some very short but still good. Would read more by this author.
