Tales From the Hood is another entertaining volume in this great series. Its playful tweaking of folklore and fairy tales contains a nice mix of humor and suspense, adventure and wit, all the while exploring family dynamics and the perils of growing up. It is one of those series that the whole family can enjoy together.
The only drawback is that you are always left waiting around for the next book . . .

This is such a great series for kids! I totally love Ferryport Landing and would visit if it was a real place! Also, Sabrina is a wonderful character. She struggles to do the right thing and doesn't always make the right decision and she really needs her families support to solve the mystery and see the story through to the end. The ending just makes me more excited to read the next one in the series!

I can't get enough of these books! I adore them! I remember reading them when I was a little kid, and I liked them, and I got them for my little sisters (actually I got most of them on tape) and found that I probably like them even more than they do!!! Now me and my two sisters can't wait for the 7th one that come out in May 2009 I guess... or I think it does anyway....

I have really enjoyed this series of books. I am very drawn to the characters and want to find out what happens to them. I look forward to the next volume, I hope that they are able to cure Mr. Canis and I was happy to see that Prince Charming wasn't really bad. :)

Another great offering from Michael Buckley. I giggled throughout the entire book and it only took me a few hours to read it. Puck is still my favorite. I think he is my new favorite children's writer, except for Jessica Day George and James Dashner of course!

I am always pleased with this series and Buckley always comes up with something very clever every time he writes. However, I am beginning to wish that he'd wrap things up and come to a conclusion - some of his plot pieces are starting to wear a little thin.

Latest book in the Sisters Grimm series. Not as good as the others. It felt a bit forced.
Mr. Canis is on trial, and the family has to find a way to free him before he is executed. Red makes another appearance.

So far I think this is the best Sisters Grimm book! Robin Hood, his merry men, the Mad Hatter and Bluebeard make appearances, as well as the return of the psychotic Red Riding Hood. I love this series!

We are not finished yet, but Buckley has us laughing and snorting out loud before chapter 2 is even done. Ya-hoo! This may be a series we have to have our own copies of.

Another great installment in this series. I really enjoy these books even though they are written for the younger crowd. I think I just like fairy-tale characters...

This was a great young adult book. I highly recommend the series. But it ends in a cliffhanger, so you might want to wait until the next one comes out!

Really good. What can you really keep saying about a series after the sixth book, so I'll leave it at that.
