Maddy Carter should have died on a plane in 2010.

But all three have been given a second chance - to work for an agency that no one knows exists. Its purpose: to prevent time travel destroying history . . .

The end is approaching for the TimeRiders. In a final effort to prevent ti

NON SPOILER review. The least adventurous instalment but narratively wise a superb conclusion to a brilliant thought provoking series

This final novel in the Timeriders series is a little disappointing in terms of maintaining an exhilarating narrative that the previous 8 books delivered. Having said that, the purpose of this final instalment was to drill a definitive message on the state of our world in ecology, religion and the nature of humanity. It does so with an aggressively preaching approa

The last and final book in the series.
I read the book in one day.
After 300 pages there was still no hint how the story would end and I was near the edge of diappointment.
But the last 100 pages have been most satisfying.
There is even the possibility to return to the main characters one day.

Until then there is enough stuff to think about.

What a great time travel series with a worthy final!!

I was really disappointed by this book. The whole series beforehand was great, and I totally recommended them, but after The Infinity Cage I feel that the entire series has been a complete waste of time. The writing in itself is quite good, but the actual things that happened in this one I didn't like at all.

The book dishonours Jesus. As a Christian, that would never make me like a book. It ‘quotes’ things that he ‘apparently’ says that are just modern thinking and so wrong. It portrays Jesus’
Astoundingly satisfying conclusion to what has become one of my favourite series. No whisper of a cop out here. Author faces the deep underlying themes of the story head-on, and does a brilliant job of tying up the various time travel conundrums and loose ends. The characters that we've grown to know and love are on top form here, and it is compelling to watch them deal with mind-blowing revelations akin to what was dropped on them in City of Shadows.

All in all, TimeRiders has been a wonderful

At last the last one :)

Admit that I have mix feelings, loosing good friends and coming to end and wonder how it will be.... Author knows what he does, that's for sure.

Even his message at the end of book shows that he has clear vision and plan for the story to go on in each of us :)

This book is not fully packed with action, not anymore, there is no need for it. Last who are here need to dig deeper and check what's inside them and then make decision. Hardest in their life.

I have adored this series and reaching the conclusion of its ninth and final novel was a painful business - I will miss it enormously. You can tell Alex Scarrow mapped out the complicated plots and ending at the very beginning. It means that the end is not only satisfying, pulling everything together, but it also honours the spirit of the all the books that went before - no mean feat!

Non-spoilery review and a look back over the series:

En bref, un dernier tome qui nous apporte toutes les réponses que l'on pouvait en attendre et qui nous entraine encore une fois facilement à la suite des personnages. On craint pour leurs vies à raison, l'auteur n'épargne personne et ce dernier voyage est assez magique. Le final est à la hauteur de ce que l'on pouvait en attendre et il clôt parfaitement cette saga en 9 tomes.

This is it, the last book. When I picked up the first book back in 2012, I had no idea that I would grow to love something I picked up out of pure stubbornness (It was on a poster recommending books for boys. I was a 13 year old girl. I had no choice really). But I have. I have genuinely loved this series.

And this is the last book. After the horrendous ending of book 8 (it was a great book, I just did not want those things to happen), and a wait of over a year, I finally bought it, and then didn

Reflecting on our regrets, we often imagine going back in time and fixing our mistakes. Time Riders takes that notion and asks the question: What can happen? Time Riders is a series follows three teenagers from different time periods: Liam, Sal, and Maddy. The three work for an enigmatic agency that is supposed to prevent time travel technology from changing history, even for the better. Throughout the series, the trio have corrected history time and time again, and start to question their ...more

And thus the Time Rider series has ended... The king is dead, long live the king!

It’s been several years since I began this series and now that it has ended I can honestly say I don't regret a minute of it....

The author, Alex Scarrow, has taken me far and wide across humanities timeline, from the era of the dinosaur to ancient Rome, from the golden age of piracy to the streets of Victorian London and from alternate war-torn realities to a post-apocalyptic future..

The Time Riders series is in my opinion a classic example of the phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover." The series have always posed the "We get it you're a generic young adult novel" look, particularly with the first novel. But as you begin to read the series evolves into something really spectacular. The infinity cage has two concurrent narratives Liam and bob in Jerusalem and maddy sal and rashim in the future. Liam's adventures in Jerusalem are mostly interesting, but what really

Time Riders is one of my favorite series OF ALL TIME. It's rare that I love a series as much as this one. It's nine books long, and got more incredible with every book. I was constantly surprised while reading. It's an incredibly well-thought out and researched sci-fi time travel series, and those of you who follow what I read know how much I love a great time travel story! Everything tied up perfectly at the end, which is a MUST for a fantastic time travel book. I got chills when the loop of ...more
I read this book within hours.

That says a lot.

And by "a lot" I mean that I loved it so much my heart wanted to burst.

I love how this book ended, making me wanted to cry myself to sleep. Not because it was heartbreakingly sad book, because it was heartbreaking to think of my favourite series was over. Finished. Never to be eagerly waited for as I charge through the bookshelves looking for the next installment. No longer would I be able to read it and burn with curiosity with what might happen nex

All I can say is WOW. What even happened at the end of the book? I am so glad that I have read this series. I was only half way through the book when interesting things started happening and I couldn't put it down.

This book perfectly summed up the series and was slightly open ended. I want more with these characters, but I can see how this is the perfect point to stop at. I was a bit unsure about the religious elements, but this book dealt with them well and there was plot twist after plot twist

alalala .. The infinity cage .. The last volume of the adventures of our Time Riders: Liam, Sal, Maddie, Bob, Becks, Rashim ... it is always sad to say good bye to some caracthers .. I followed them since the 1 french release. i had to wait for the next book ^^

I remember: the cover attracted me a lot and the story seemed great and .. it is!

I think Scarrow put the fingers ( as many people) on the real causes of troubles in the world.
And yes, cleaning the Earth and re-starting everything is a good

TimeRiders-scifisarjan yhdeksännessä ja viimeisessä osassa The Infinity Cage aikamatkaajien saama tehtävä, historian säilyttäminen ennallaan, lähenee loppuaan. Osa ryhmästä lähtee tulevaisuuteen, vuoteen 2070, tapaamaan TimeRiders-ryhmän perustajaa Roald Waldsteinia toisten suunnatessa ajanlaskumme alun Jerusalemiin.

Sarjan viimeinen kirja paljastaa viimein vastaukset edellisten kirjojen herättämiin kysymyksiin. Tämän jälkeen lukija tietää, mitä kirjailija Alex Scarrowilla oli mielessään ensimmä

The Time Riders series (nine books) has ended with this last one, The Infinity Cage. Time Riders is easily the best time travel fiction I have ever read, and I am so sorry to see it end. The deaths of characters we came to know and love as the books continued were hard to read; the author showed us he was not averse to plot twists we never expected. Similarly, the plot of each separate book had its own satisfying ending, and the plots followed each other naturally and in context with the greater ...more

This was a great end to a great series, and more important is that it was an actual end. A finish. A conclusion. There was no 'get out clause', no false trail to leave things open for a new book, and best of all, all those unanswered questions, final got an answer. A decent one at that.

That's right. Alex Scarrow managed to do something great in that he not only managed to do all of the above, but he did it in a way that was both exciting and managed to keep me guessing right until the end. There

An ending I wouldnt have guessed but with many questions and loopholes and I didnt really like the way he got science (and history) wrong here and there even though it is a story about changing history. Anyway the containment field the aliens set up proves that time travel is possible without chaos space since it created chaos space hence they could still time travel, they just need to discover another way. Another problem with that is they travelled beyond the containment field to the time of ...more

A brilliant final chapter to a fantastic series of books. What is amazing is that the loose ends were tied up in a satisfactory, logical fashion, without any nastily contrived bits. It seemed to make sense. As Alex himself says, he knew how the series would finish before he even wrote the first book. It shows in the way it all holds together, in the way the characters have developed - with some surprises along the way, it has to be said!
