A tale of Asa Mercer's ladies, written in a historical format for the teen reader. If you are looking for a good way to learn some of the history of the settling of Seattle and what Asa Mercer had to do with that, this is a good book to read. It states the realism of the harsh circumstances that faced young women, especially orphans in those times.
