It is very difficult to say anything without giving a spoiler alert of some kind, so I will simply say that this was another great book, real page turner, did not disappoint with the awesome plot!

Sleepless nights

This book was impossible to put down. I felt so many emotions throughout the book. I plan to re-read the series again back to back!

The last installment in the Ugly Tree series is not quite as good as the first one. I'd probably give it 2 1/2 stars instead of 3. I thought the dialog was rather juvenile. The main character Cane finally did show some growth and maturing towards the end of the book, after I had just about given up on her. It seemed she would keep her teenage character forever. That characterization worked well in the first book, but not so well in the other two, since by the second she had graduated from ...more
