This book is rather unique. It is written with dated journal entries, each journal entry is a poem, and each poem/journal entry has a description with great imagery which shows a plant's life cycle, how to take care and grow a plant/garden, how living things interact within the environment which in this case is bugs, and other creatures in a garden, and has a grandpa and Granddaughter as the two main characters.
