A book of classic messages of love. What an intriguing concept. Ideals in love and romance have fluctuated over the centuries – we’ve staggered through arranged marriages, betrothals, courtships, dating, etc. We’ve obsessed over the physical aspect of love and have been equally addled concerning the ideas of oneness of soul.

These days we’re in a phase of truncated, stupid love. The idea seems to be that the more dumbstruck you are by your lover’s appeal to you, the cooler that is. Stuttering and
