This how-to book offers simple instructions for all the important aspects of writing a will. It deals with many scenarios: married with children, married with no children, single, second marriages, same-sex marriages, etc. It goes over all the sections of a will, what to write and what to avoid. I found it a mark of credibility that it gives several examples in each chapter where using a lawyer would be a better idea than doing it yourself. This book is for folks with an estate less than $1,000,000. It is a do-it-yourself book by Nolo Press and clearly communicates two things: if you have children you need a will and you can do it without exorbitant lawyers fees. I have the former and don't want to encounter the latter. There are Nolo books about writing wills for more complicated estates, but this book isn't it.
