This is a book about Richard 3rd, or, rather, it is about people on periphery of the events that culminated with the Battle of Bosworth. In essence, it's a love story that grows from a chance meeting between two people from very different stations in life. It's an interesting read, because it doesn't focus on the great and good but, instead, it concentrates on an ordinary woman whose path in life is irrevocably altered by the choices she makes.
