Fast-Paced Thriller
This is a well-written thriller that reminds me of some of the early Jack Ryan novels by Tom Clancy. Detective Chief Inspector Alan Hanks is a fine example of the quirky-but-brilliant British detectives that have been a staple of literature since Sherlock Holmes. DCI Hanks is nearing retirement, and finding entirely too much solace in bottles of scotch. But he soon finds that he must not only find and defeat an Al Qaida terrorist plot with a potential for a catastrophic death

Described by many and too true to be fiction. In depth research and a racing plot leave you on the edge of your seat in this page turning thriller. Left with the same problem the investigators are facing, the reader has to juggle the facts and decide which is the main threat. Can it be prevented? If so, at what cost? A bird's eye look at what is happening in the 'free world'. A radical Muslim in a virus factory. A truck with 30 tons of ether on its way to
