Another silly and delightful parody science-fiction story from the very funny pen of Evelyn E. Smith, published initially in the 1950s but now free to read on the Gutenberg website.

This one features an encounter between a vain, out of work stage actor and a shape-shifting extraterrestrial from Sirius who wants to conquer Earth, only he needs someone to teach him how to act human.

Evelyn E. Smith was an American author of Science Fiction. During the 50′s her works appeared regularly in magazines such as Galaxy and Fantastic Universe. In the 80′s she wrote a number of novels featuring the character Miss Melville about a middle-aged assassin. She also wrote as Delphine C. Lyons and Christopher Grimm.
