What happens on the road…

Zoey Archer has a long, glorious history of disaster. Financially, professionally…and, oh, yes, a junkyard full of romantic wreckage. All she wants is a chance to prove that she can be Absolutely Capable and Reliable Zoey. And if that means escorting her sister's high-maintenance purebred dog to the other side of the country, nothing can stop her.

Zoey Archer, screw-up extraordinaire, has been given a chance to prove herself at last: take her sister's high-strung show dog across the country to a breeder for breeding purposes. Her sister Kate's instructions, "Stick to the plan Zoey, stick to the plan and don't deviate from it!" That worked well until the weather intervened in Chicago and shut everything down. Stuck at the airport with a high-strung dog in a crate in storage, Zoey meets Cameron MacNeil at the baggage carrousel who was tryin ...more

Heather MacAllister delivers yet another fun, sexy romance in "Taken by Storm." I read this one in a single day. Couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Cam and Zoey is undeniable, and the story is fun, yet suspenseful (as severe weather situations can often be...except the stakes are exceptionally high for the hero and heroine). I highly recommend!

I didn't like this book.It was a slow read and there was very little romance in it.The romantic scenes lacked spice.I don't recommend this book to anyone unless you want to fall asleep.

This book grabbed me from the start! I couldn't put it down! There wasn't a thing I hated about this story- it was awesome all the way through! I loved how Zoey and Cam met and how they came together under such bizarre circumstances, thus beginning a relationship I was rooting for all the way! I applaud the author for such a great story and for one of the best Harlequin books I've read this year!!

"Readers can’t help but root for these two. This book reads like a road-trip-from-hell romantic comedy, and is perfectly delightful from start to finish" (RT Book Reviews). 4 1/2 stars
