I love this book! Sarah O'Malley is a divorced, forty five year old Erotic Romance author who isn't getting any of what she writes about. That changes unexpectedly when sh comes home to care for her always difficult mother who is suffering from dementia.
This is such a layered story that it's hard to describe. You come to know a lot of people and care for all of them.Humor, pathos and excellent writing make this a book that's hard to put down. I look forward to more from this author. Bravo, Jenn

I can't really say that the writing was necessarily the problem. Yes, I did see some grammatical and punctuation errors. However, my reason for not liking the book is of no fault of the author. The novel was too liberal for my tastes.

My mother was an actress, Patricia Walker and later became a costume designer. In the mid sixties they divorced and my father married Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins, Sound of Music).
