"A Great Story Of Mending"

Sammy loves animals and is a volunteer for the animal rescue center in a small British town. A small young black dog had been hanging around the churchyard and then it is struck by a car. I loved this sweet little novella. Victoria is consistently one of my favourite authors and this story didn’t disappoint!

I love the bond that forms between Alfie and Hope, the little stray dog. Sammy is worried about her Dad, since he lost his beloved wife Jessie and she thinks the dog might help him focus. The bond that grows, I think surprises them all.

I really want a dog, I have done for a long time and this just made me pine even more! A perfect quick read that will leave you all warm and fu

Just finished listening to this audiobook. It's a lovely little story of an abandoned dog bringing hope to a grieving family, a story of friendship between man and his 4 legged friend. This audiobook was narrated well with a clear, likeable voice. Audio books are a lovely, relaxing and time efficient way to enjoy a story.

I am a huge fan of Victoria Connelly and she didn't disappoint with this novella!

Sammy puts animals first and Hope in particular, in order to help her recover she decides to let Hope be a healer too.

Such a heart warming short story that really does make you smile.
