Danielle has taken a great idea and has has put it on the pages of this sweet, sweet book. She has created a world where you just don't want the story to end. You keep turning the pages and your heart and there are moments in the book when you can feel the emotions of the characters. I highly recommend the book and hope to see far more stories from her in the future. Danielle Lee Zwissler is one talented author, I keep my fingers crossed for her and I'm already waiting for her next books!

I loved this book! This book though really made me mad! Why are guys so stupid?! and Why couldn't they have realized sooner...(Don't want to give anything away) This will make you laugh, break out in tears, this book will shock you, and sometimes you just will want to throw it! But you can't put it down! You won't regret it! Read it! Now!

Wow...this book was wonderful. Once I sat down to read it I simply could not stop. I highly...highly...highly recommend this book if you are a romance lover. By the time I finished the first few pages, I was held hostage to every single word.

This is one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read. There is no cheating, betrayal or doing stupid things while in a drunken stupor which earns big points for me. There was angst, yes, but it was lovely. You will need a box of tissues, it is tha

Love Next Door...

Sometimes we search for love instead of accepting it's right before our eyes...

The Long Ride Home is another winner for Ms. Zwissler as she takes us on a journey of a beautiful love story.

Elena Rose is the the girl next door. She grew up with a crush on the boy next door, Holton Dade. Elena hoped by the age of 18 her dreams would come true. But this high-spirited and loving girl's dream may be as wild as her red curls.
Or is it?
Will death and break-ups stand in the way of a love

I love this book! Im so happy I downloaded this book. Im not sure why its free because its definitely worth money.
Holton always thought of Elena as a little sister and he believed that her childhood crush on him was just a crush. For Elena, however, her crush was love. An eight year age difference kept them apart for the longest time until an unexpected loss. Their friendship then morphed into a romance after Holton made a deathbed promise to her dad that he would take care of her. So he propos

I enjoyed this book. I have actually re-read the book several times since downloading it in May.

Elena attends school 8 hours away from her home town, where Holden lives. Holden has lived next door to Elena and her family since she was born. There is about 8 years difference between the two but they have always been friends...but Elena wanted more.

The book starts out strong with Holden showing up at Elena's door in the middle of the night. There is an emergency and he has come to

I was asked to review and given a free copy of The Long Ride Home (Cowboys & Cowgirls) by Danielle Lee Zwissler

This is a tale of a lifelong love and the journey Holton and Elena take to finally find their HEA (happily ever after). Elena has loved Holton her whole life and centres her whole existence on him. Holton, who is eight years older, can't commit to being with someone that much younger, despite his own long-term feelings for his “brat” neighbour. Through all the ups and downs of this

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!
I can't say enough good things about this book. The characters are enchanting from the start. Holton, the quiet, sexy rancher is 8 years older than Elena, the girl next door. He is the object of her affection for nearly her entire life and most of his as well. The story is swoon worthy! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard-at Elena's best friend, or cried so much-the scenes with Holton on the plane and at the hospital nea

The Long Ride Home tells the tale of lifelong love and the struggle to finally find what each character needs. Elena has loved Holton her whole life and can't imagine life without him. Holton, who is eight years older, can't imagine getting together with someone that much younger, despite his secret feelings. Elena and Holton's journey to find true love together makes the reader keep turning pages.

I read this book in one evening, I found it to be well written with well developed characters. After reading Danielle Lee's previous books, I wasn't disappointed.

I hate to say anything bad about a book because I know I couldn't write one but this book was horrible! I felt like it was written by a junior high school kid. There were so many mistakes. A big example...In chapter 16. It started by talking about their first Valentine's Day together and 3 paragraphs later it says it was April.
I read a lot of the reviews and people commented about being irritated with Holton for not making up his mind and taking so long to make a decision on his feelings for El

I read it a couple of weeks ago so lets see if I remember the chronological events correctly because I'm not going back to read it again.

Elena has been in love with Holt - forever! He was eight when she was born and he was like a surrogate brother. At 14 they kissed or did she kiss him? anyhow she's still way too young for Holt considering their eight year age difference. At 16, age is working against her still but this time she's holding on to an implied promise from Holt when she tur

This book had a good enough story line...nice characters, typical romantic angst. Some moments stirred me, but it was not a memorable tale.

As always, with the authors' backgrounds, I am amazed at the typos in the published books. Wondering if this is just a translation into Kindle format. I have to admit it distracts me from the story and could very well have painted any negativity in a review. My apologies to the author, but it is so annoying.

I will, unfortunately, be repeating the last paragr

This book was really, really, really hard for me to get into. I have this respect thing with having to read a story to the end once I've started though. I have to be honest, the first half I really disliked. Character behavior was childish and unrealistic. The second half made up for the first. It wasn't half bad by the time you get to the end. Some nice surprises with the paranormal aspect too. The healing time was stretching reality.. but that's artistic license I guess. I ended up enjoying ...more

Shelves: quit
I quit at around the 10% mark, because the writing was so stilted and the dialogues just ridiculous. This book needs some really thorough editing. The story sounds interesting and could be good, just the wiring needs to catch up.

Danielle Lee Zwissler was born in Dover, Ohio. A small town in North East Ohio. Her love of romance and cowboys took over in this novella. She is a big fan of William Shatner, Harry Potter, and all things Harlequin. Her first novel, “Her Last Chance”, debuted in 2010 with Firefly & Wisp Books. And then shortly after the sequel, “The Art of Seduction” came out. Unfortunately, after three years ...more
