I really liked this book, which I thought was a good story about showing gratitude to God and learning to be content in all circumstances. It was also nicely written: poetic and descriptive enough for me to enjoy reading aloud to the children. My daughter took two readings to warm up to it, but the second time she seemed really to enjoy it.
Great topic to introduce cultural traditions and share our own family and cultural traditions with one another in the classroom.
