This would be a good book to own.

I thought this book was great. So full of wonderful information and tips! It was a little dated (written in mid-90s) so some of the stuff in there doesn't totally apply anymore, but still a great book!
Pretty simple information, but great for beginners wanting to learn about organics, healthier food choices, and more eco-friendly/natural cleaners. Very comprehensive with a forward written by Meryl Streep!
Fairly clearly outdated, my library copy gave some good advice to a novice in the world of whole foods. Fortunately, some good steps have been made in a greener direction since the publication of this book.
A good book to have in the kitchen as reference for eating more sustainably.
