Hyperbole beyond belief

I guess this would be an ok kid's chapter book if the kid was living in 1964 and was assigned the task of editing the poor grammar, stilted dialogue, and boring plot.

Also, the entire story is in "center justified" print which makes for awkward reading.

I thought this was about modern day bullying in the classroom, but it's about a kid who gets his books knocked down in school by another kid. Despite this obstacle, Scotty manages to become the star player on his little lea
