This book was really really good.

It tells the story of Lawyer Judas and Psychologist Grace. Told in both points of view.

He's a puppet- a man controlled by his Father- controlled by guilt of his Mothers passing.

His Father has him winning the easy cases by day, but by night he is cosying up to the family of high powered people in order to find leverage that his Father can use in

Let me start with stating that I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I didn't know what it was about so went in kind of blind as to what to expect. I was excited, but also nervous that I would not like the story line or be able to get into the book. And then I started to read about Judas and slowly got sucked in. It wasn't one of those stories that grabbed me immediately, but about a quarter way through I got hooked.

Judas had just graduated from Law school. He has his entire future ahead of h

I reviewed this at MustReadBooksOrDie with my friend Shelley!

Court: Fallen From Grace is quite an interesting book. For most of it, I was sincerely peeved. The decisions the characters make were ridiculous and frustrating. But then again I thought the words Gossip Girl (and I watched every episode of that insanity) so the life of the Upper East Side is still contrived and all about who the power players are.

Court: Judas is a man who has been living well, not for himself f

What happens when the life you lead is all a façade? A role. One that is forced upon you either due to past regrets and guilt or family expectations.

“This was his life, and until Jack was through with him, he’d have to live by the grace of God, pray to his mother for forgiveness, and wait until he could be free.”

Judas Woods is in his own personal hell. His life is not his own; his father controls every move he makes. No matter how ha

Judas is forced into going to law school by his father Jack. His father also forces him into going out with girls who have problems like drugs and alcohol addiction, so his father can use that as blackmail against other elected officials. Judas was supposed to be digging up dirt on Rebecca but he doesn't like helping his father. So he tries to help Rebecca instead. Rebecca has a problem with drugs and alcohol. Her family wants nothing to do with her because she also dropped out of school

Judas was that unattainable man that all women want to tame and make theirs. Unfortunately, his father had other ideas and dreams form him.
Grace is the sweet girl that is driven and career oriented and wants to be in love.

This book makes me wonder how much of the drama really exists in the real world of politics, lawyers, and government officials. There were so many twists and turns and so much deception, mystery, and intrigue that you never really knew who was going to end up on top and who

Well I couldn't agree more with Anna! I loved this story and couldn't get enough! You have Judas,he's lost someone dear to him and from a young age he was forced to be something he's not.. he hates it and despises his dad for it (I would too! Hated his dad!) While out with a friend, Judas spots Grace having din din with his dad and he is NOT happy about it.. why you ask? Well because he is infatuated with Grace when he first sees her! You have Grace she is a Psychologist that too has had lost ...more

I just have to say first is the cover is seriously delicious! This was a 4 star read for me! I liked the story and the characters and there was some serious steamy scenes. The only thing I can say is this is a little insta-love which is normally not my kind of romance story but it did veer in different directions so I was able to push that aside and enjoy the ride. Oh Yes it was a whirlwind and you just have to let your body flow through the waves.

I was offered the ARC for Fallen from Grace in exchange for an honest review. After reading the synopsis I was very much intrigued as it described what sounded to me like not only a love story, but also a book which would possibly have some suspense and betrayal. With the majority of my reading being strictly stories of love, I felt drawn to this book just looking for something with a little more, and Fallen from Grace definitely was “more.”

On the surface, Judas Woods appears to be a man who has

Fallen From Grace - Leigh Songstad - 4.5 Stars.

What an amazing story of lies, deceit, threats, manipulation, secrets and love. What a combination you say, well you would be absolutely right. I have never read anything by this author before, but this book grabbed me from the start and I will be looking for more from Leigh Songstad.

‘Judas glanced over his shoulder at his father just before they exited through the doors. Jack dipped his head with an approving nod that condemned Judas. At twenty-f
The first thing I'd like to say about Fallen From Grace by Leigh Songstad is that it's one of those books that once I started to read it, I didn't want to put down, but I had to sleep at some time. Having started it the night before, I finished it the very next day. I think what drew me in the most was the fact I thought the two main characters – Judas and Grace, had amazing chemistry together. There were times when I could feel their frustrations when they had outside pressures on both of them. ...more

this is a good story I enjoyed reading it , jack frustrated me and I wanted to punch him in the face , this book made me wonder about the grown men out there in high pressured jobs still attached at the apron strings and feeling like there is no way out, very well wrote story lots of twists and turns and heart pulling moments my kind of book however I did feel at times it was a little fast going and needed a little more emotional connection but still
